For 25 years Phillip Coyle was in the sheet metal trade as a specialty welder which required that he endure extreme temperatures for long periods, maintain precarious positions for hours on end, and climb scaffolds on the edges of NYC buildings with high elevations and heavy equipment. Successfully navigating all of this was dependent on his level of concentration, focus, and awareness of potential hazards in the periphery that could harm himself and others. It was here in this environment he realized that he had to be smart about how he handled himself daily.  He did this through a parallel course during those same 25 years doing internal and external martial arts, maintaining a fitness regimen, and practicing Qigong which helped him with his high performance.  It was during these years that he realized that all the work he did in that parallel course had carried over into his life at work.

During his time as a welder, Phil traveled over the years to study with many masters of martial arts and qigong.  After retiring from sheet metal and welding, he became a physical trainer who studied various genres of fitness including Pilates and Functional Training. He opened a studio and continued his search for an enlightened and holistic approach that included both the physical and internal fortitude he knew was so important.  He continued his education in internal martial arts from many important and prominent teachers. He spent six years, interrupted by the pandemic, becoming a Doctor of Energetic Medicine directly under Dr. Jerry Alan Johnson, the International Institute of Medical Qigong, and the Bian Hua Gong Daoist Temple of Change and Transformation. Drawn to create his solution, he developed a synergetic system for mind and body with specific strategies that affect emotional balance for wellness, recognizing this approach can be applied to and effective for all areas of life.
