Water
Water Represents
The WATER ELEMENT represents FLUIDITY
Within the Water System, we develop and maintain the body’s natural fluidity. The movement patterns promote internal and external flow by synchronizing the body seamlessly through all planes of motion.
The Water element traditionally governs the bones and fluids of the body.  The organ associated with the Water element are the Kidneys paired with the Bladder, which are vitally important to filtering and expelling toxins and expelling them from the body.
Water is about full movement of the body flowing seamlessly with unrestricted ease and proper range of motion. It adds forward movement and flow to your life.
This is an important element to develop because these exercises will help you to gain fluidity of both mind and body. Exercises for Water include a feeling of undulating movement, a wave-like motion, a smooth rising and falling or side-to-side motion.
Wood
Wood Represents
The WOOD ELEMENT represents FLEXIBILITY

Within the Wood System we develop flexibility through a range of motion to help joints and muscles move freely and with ease, thus improving neuromuscular efficiency and function.
The Wood element governs the muscles, tendons and ligaments in the body in traditional Chinese medicine.

The organ associated with the Wood element is the Liver paired with the Gall Bladder, which is vitally important to detoxify the body.

Wood is about being able to move creatively within your everyday life without stiffness.
Exercises for Wood include the enhances pliability  in muscles, joints and tendons in all planes of motion, frontal, sagittal and transverse. These exercises will help you gain flexibility of mind and body.
Fire
Fire Represents

EXPANSION

The FIRE ELEMENT REPRESENTS EXPANSION

Within the Fire System, we develop endurance and stamina in body and mind.

The Fire element governs the blood vessels, heart, and pericardium in traditional Chinese medicine.
Fire is all about your ability to move efficiently and with purpose, allowing you to increase endurance for any activity. Exercises for Fire require a combination of strength and endurance for the duration of each exercise. These exercises will help to have more energy within everyday activities.
Earth
Earth Represents
The EARTH ELEMENT REPRESENTS BALANCE
Within the Earth System we develop stability by systematically building strength while challenging the centerline of the body within a multi-sensory environment.
It includes reactive joint stabilization within a range of movement thus improving balance, creating postural equilibrium, activating the nervous system and improving neuromuscular efficiency.
The organ associated with the Earth element in traditional Chinese medicine is the Spleen, which filters the blood and is responsible for the intake, processing and distribution of nutrients.
Earth is about your ability to maintain homeostasis, mentally and physically helping to react appropriately in any situation, improving awareness and coordination.
The organ associated with Earth is the Spleen paired with the Stomach
Exercises for Earth include the use of muscles that support and stabilize the body while moving prime mover and synergistic muscles to perform actions.
Metal
Metal Represents
Within the Metal System we develop strength and power by using full body resistance training in multiple vectors.
Exercises involve moving both heavy and light loads in a fast and controlled way with repetition, intensity and minimal rest.
The Metal element governs the Lungs paired with the Large Intestine in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Metal is about building muscles and tendon strength as well as increasing bone density, improving blood flow, and making the heart more resilient.
Exercises for Metal emphasize the ability of the body to produce high levels of force for prolonged periods of time.
These exercises will optimize metabolic functions while building muscle and tendon strength.
